Built for
the bay.
Design-build landscaping, armour stone, waterfront and excavation for estates, cottages and commercial properties across Georgian Bay. One crew plans it, builds it and stands behind it.
Plan to built
Drag the line across this lakefront fire pit terrace to compare the top-down plan with the finished build: the same terrace, stone steps, flagstone patio, fire pit and armour stone, drawn first and then built.

How it works
We walk the property with you and check grades, access and permits.
A 3D design and a written proposal with scope, phasing and price.
Our own crew and machines handle excavation, drainage, stone, planting and lighting.
If anything we built settles or shifts, we come back and fix it.

Meet the owner
I started Forty Five Scapes with a simple rule: build every property like it was our own place on the bay.
Our crew handles the design, excavation, stonework and planting ourselves, so the people who plan your project are the people who build it.

Commercial & winter
Condo boards, property managers and commercial owners use us year-round: entrances, drainage and grounds from spring to fall, then plowing, salting and hauling when the snow comes.
Reviews
Forty-Five Scapes did a fantastic job replacing the broken concrete retaining wall at the end of our driveway with beautiful armour stone. They were punctual, worked long, hard days and finished the job extremely quickly.
I started with such a mess, mud and weeds and poor grading. I met with Mark and he put my mind at ease. He took my wants and needs and budget and created a vision. The crew was always on time and respectful and the end product was amazing.
They showed up when they said. They did a fantastic job on our stairs, truly a work of art. The retaining wall and stone stairs add value to the property. Would definitely recommend.
Where we build
